Africa's Youth
Interesting article on the future of Africa’s youth. And even more interesting are the stated statistics:
“In less than 3 generations, 41% of the world’s youth will be African”
“By 2035, Africa’s labor force will be larger than China”
“By 2050, over 1/4 of the world’s labor force will be African”
“Africa spends more on secondary education than the global average”
If all these stats are indeed true, it makes you wonder what kind of opportunities abound for engaging that massive workforce to a greater good/goal/vision.
